Ken Churilla's love for music covers all bases from "Patsy Cline to Poison" and his instinctive ability to relate to the power of the song carries over effortlessly to wedding receptions. Ken even "digs deep" to discover excellence in lesser known artists such as Mike McClure and Gutterboy to name a few.
Simply put, Ken's passion for music can be summed up in his favorite lyric by Bruce Springsteen - "We learned more from a 3 minute record baby, than we ever learned in school."
Of special note, Ken received national recognition as a songwriter when his song "Three Foot Romeo" placed in the Top 10 at the 2008 Spring Symposium Song Contest, sponsored by the NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International).
Churilla has been part of the music industry for over twenty years, having written over 500 feature interviews for magazines such as American Country, The Chicago Sun Times, Country Weekly and Hit Parader as well as being a voting member of the CMA (Country Music Association). He's also been hired directly by artists such as Martina McBride, Poison and Kenny Chesney to create their album release media kits and biographies. Closer to home, Ken has worked for the last 15 years in Chicago radio at US99, WCKG, NINE-FM, 670AM The Score and more.
Ruben is our newest addition to the Trans Audio DJ Staff. His passion and interest as a DJ began at a very young age as he helped his father DJ parties as early as 10 years old. Ruben's first paying job was at the age of 14 and he hasn't stopped since, becoming not only an expert in Latin music, but a DJ who loves interacting with the crowd and demonstrating the Cupid Shuffle, Casper Slide and other popular line dances at wedding receptions.
Ruben has many years of experience with many kinds of parties and weddings and is often told that he's "one of a kind!" He knows how to keep the party going. Whether it's oldies or current hits, he loves them all and will make your dance floor and exciting success!
Tony Kaminski is the kind of guy you immediately like the moment you meet him. (His charismatic personality is contagious!) It is amazing how his personality carries through the microphone, inspiring everyone around him to enjoy a fun time together. People who might not normally dance will come out to the floor, simply because Tony makes everyone feel at ease while creating an atmosphere that encourages people to celebrate. Growing up within a family of concert promoters, Tony was lucky enough to see and experience the music of a big variety of rock bands and professional musicians. This exposure to many musical styles has given him an appreciation for a wide range of music. Naturally, it is easy for Tony to understand the musical tastes of every group he DJs for and to quickly respond with music they like best. The result of all this ability? A premier wedding reception mobile DJ.

Dave Pesich began his performing career in musical theater and as the lead singer in a band before pursuing a successful seven-year career as a mobile DJ. Every time Dave plays for a wedding reception, he finds it so enjoyable his positive energy naturally transmits to the bride and groom and their family and friends. His presence encourages a busy dance floor and a smooth, fun flow to a reception’s announcements, activities and events.
Dave concludes, “The best part about being a DJ is when the client is complimentary about the job I just did. That feeling of accomplishment and pride keeps me going week after week.” It is Dave’s focus on customer’s complete satisfaction (and more) that brides and grooms really appreciate. Trans Audio is very pleased that Dave chose to bring his talents and energy to share with our customers, and with Dave as your DJ, we know you will be, too.
Bernie is a well-know reception host and music-mixing pro, with the personal experience of over seven hundred Trans Audio wedding receptions. Always fun and moving to the music, Bernie's contagious enthusiasm makes it easy for guests to get up and onto the dance floor. Very comfortable with music from all generations, Bernie can instinctively “read a crowd” to keep everyone dancing non-stop all night. (High energy celebrations are his specialty.) But in Bernie’s words, the best thing about being a mobile DJ is “just having couples say how special I made their reception and how many compliments they received from their guests. That is why I have been doing this for over twenty years.” With Bernie as your DJ, simply relax, have fun and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime celebration.
