Even at an early age, Doug Clapp knew that he was destined to enjoy entertaining people with music. Pursing a career in radio, he spent over ten years as on-air personality throughout the Midwest, including a stint as an intern with Patti Haze at WCKG radio in Chicago. Recently, Doug even performed as the lead singer for the cover band “Overdue.” During the early 90s while Doug was on the air, he also spent three years spinning for Trans Audio as a mobile DJ. Today, he’s back again, even more experienced and better than ever. Besides his obviously strong and seasoned microphone presence, his ability to mix music styles, lead a crowd to the dance floor and please a bride and groom comes naturally to Doug. In his words, “I find that every wedding reception is a fun challenge. My goal is to make sure everyone leaves having a great time, especially the bride and groom.” Still in his mid 30s, Doug is in the prime of his Mobile DJ career, bringing a hard-to-find blend of radio, stage and mobile DJ performance skills to Trans Audio. Tony Kaminski is the kind of guy you immediately like the moment you meet him. (His charismatic personality is contagious!) It is amazing how his personality carries through the microphone, inspiring everyone around him to enjoy a fun time together. People who might not normally dance will come out to the floor, simply because Tony makes everyone feel at ease while creating an atmosphere that encourages people to celebrate. Growing up within a family of concert promoters, Tony was lucky enough to see and experience the music of a big variety of rock bands and professional musicians. Fabian Newman is the most recent addition to the Trans Audio team. His love for music is evidenced by the diversity of the music genres which he knows well and enjoys playing. Fabian specializes in everything from Contemporary Christian to Reggae, to R&B, and the latest in Country. In addition to his versatility with so many styles of music, Fabian is known for his positive interaction with clients and their guests. Fabian has a unique way of putting clients at ease on their special day. He naturally connects with people and will go out of his way to greet and be attentive to your guests - both individually and on the microphone. This results in a festive atmosphere and busy dance floor. Starting out as a radio personality, Fabian possesses more than 15 years of DJ experience. In his own words, “I’m especially excited about expanding my career by serving Trans Audio’s fantastic clients.”

Dave Pesich began his performing career in musical theater and as the lead singer in a band before pursuing a successful seven-year career as a mobile DJ. Every time Dave plays for a wedding reception, he finds it so enjoyable his positive energy naturally transmits to the bride and groom and their family and friends. His presence encourages a busy dance floor and a smooth, fun flow to a reception’s announcements, activities and events.

Bernie is a well-know reception host and music-mixing pro, with the personal experience of over seven hundred Trans Audio wedding receptions. Always fun and moving to the music, Bernie's contagious enthusiasm makes it easy for guests to get up and onto the dance floor. Very comfortable with music from all generations, Bernie can instinctively “read a crowd” to keep everyone dancing non-stop all night. (High energy celebrations are his specialty.) But in Bernie’s words, the best thing about being a mobile DJ is “just having couples say how special I made their reception and how many compliments they received from their guests. A DJ from the first moment he was old enough to spin a disc, Gregg Sierra has over ten years of experience, even though he’s still in his 20s. He’s been able to DJ for so long because, “it’s a challenge and exciting to me.” His early love for music carried over into an even greater love of seeing people dance to the music he plays. Gregg thinks of it as an exciting challenge to take a customer’s song list and to then please both the younger and older generations with great musical timing. Eric Woltman is a man of many talents, including mobile DJ, ballroom dance instructor, middle school music teacher, rock guitarist and video producer. His combination of skills enables Eric to be responsive and creative in a variety of ways as a mobile DJ. If you wish, he can even show your guests a popular dance, like the salsa. A few quick steps later, and the dance floor is full of dancers excited to try something new and fun. It can be a great “mixer” event that only takes a few minutes, but creates a lot of fun and new energy.
